Philosophy of Education

In school, I was constantly asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I always gave the same answer: I want to be a teacher. Then people would always ask why I wanted to be a teacher. They would tell me that the hours are long, the pay is pathetic, and the gratitude is hardly existent. I would always reply in the same way: the hours are wisely invested in the future, there are more important things than pay, and the gratitude is more than anyone can ever realize.

There are several reasons why I have always wanted to be a teacher. First of all, I love to learn, and learning is an important part of being a teacher. In order to teach your students what they need to know, you have to constantly gather new information to share. It is also a good idea to instill in your students a love of learning. Secondly, I love to share what I learn with anyone and everyone, especially children. Thirdly, I have had many experiences with children, and I relate well to them. Lastly, I think that educating the future is the one of the most important jobs someone can have because he or she is helping to ensure success of the next generation.

I believe that every child can be taught; they just have to be taught in the correct way. The job of a teacher is to find out how to teach every child. Children are the future, and therefore it is important to ensure that future generations will be able to succeed. One way to guarantee success is a good solid educational foundation. I also believe that students need individual attention and praise, to encourage them on their way. If a child is not adequately encouraged or praised, he or she may feel that he or she is not important. Also, parent involvement with the students is extremely important. Parents need to spend time with their children, helping them to succeed. Finally, I believe that curiosity is important in the classroom. If children are curious, and explore their curiosity, they will be more excited about learning.

I want to achieve many things by being a teacher. I want to make sure that my students get the foundation they need to succeed in life. I want to make sure I teach my students the truth. I want to make sure that my students love to learn. I want to make sure that I teach every student. Finally, I want to always put forth my best effort when educating my students.

Teaching is important. Children in this society need to learn how to succeed. With a foundation set by good teachers, and good parents, children will hopefully be able to make a better tomorrow.
